Wytech Industries, a medical device manufacturing company is seeking a HR Manager. The corporate office is located in Rahway.

Here are the details for the position:

Human Resources Manager - Growing manufacturer of fine wire and tubing components for medical devices is looking for “hands on” HR Manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support operational HR functions. Essential responsibilities of the position include: benefits and policies administration, employee relations, training, performance management, recruitment/employment, onboarding, safety.

Job Functions:
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Coordinates all aspects of recruitment, including job posting, screening, interviewing and providing job offers.
  • Conducts new employee orientation.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Maintains employee records and related reports in conformance with all legal and internal company requirements.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Coordinates management HR training.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Provides managers/supervisors with support and guidance on employee coaching and corrective action.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of experience in Human Resources
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • An understanding of HR and legal compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with ADP payroll system is a plus
  • Experience managing HR function in a manufacturing multi-plant, multi-state operation preferred
  • Knowledge of Spanish language helpful
